Handing Structure From Weekly to Daily Charts

A clean weekly channel loses value if the daily markup fights it. A practical handoff sequence for desk work.

Weekly channels describe the larger container. Daily trendlines describe the current rhythm inside that container. When the two conflict, beginners often delete the weekly context and chase the faster line. We reverse that order.

Handoff sequence

  1. Mark the active weekly channel or primary weekly trendline first
  2. Drop to daily only after the weekly frame is written in the journal
  3. Allow daily lines to refine timing, not to contradict weekly structure without a clear break

This handoff keeps your desk notes layered instead of argumentative. When weekly structure breaks, the daily markup is rewritten on purpose—not by accident mid-session.
